The 3 Valleys is the largest ski area in the world with over 600 kms of interconnected slopes and 180 ski lifts on the resorts of Courchevel, La Tania, Méribel, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, St Martin de Belleville and Orelle. Known for being a fantastic ski destination for families, St Martin has direct access to numerous beginner slopes as well as a multitude of red, black and itinerary runs. Neighbouring Meribel and Val Thorens are a snowboarder’s heaven with parks and airbags to keep the thrill seekers entertained. Access to these valleys is quick and easy with just two short lifts.
This area is one of the snowiest resorts in France, meaning that even those looking for some spring skiing will find excellent ski conditions only a high speed gondola ride from St Martin.
Sprinkled across the slopes there are numerous mountain restaurants and plenty which can be accessed by non skiers too. A wide selection of perfect lunch spots to sit outside on a sunny deck and meet up with all skiing and non skiing members of your party.

Summer Season
Summer in St Martin is truly spectacular. Endless hiking and mountain biking trails will suit the adventurers whilst relaxed days at the lake or golf course will appeal to others.
St Martin comes alive in summer and is a true year round resort. With picture perfect scenery and a beautiful summer climate, St Martin attracts families, walkers, road bikers, mountain bikers and a whole host of local and foreign visitors who come to enjoy all it has to offer.
With an excess of 20 lifts operating in the summer, all three valleys can be accessed from Saint Martin by bikers and pedestrians alike 4 days a week . With many mountain restaurants open during the summer you can enjoy a whole day on the mountain, taking in the views and nature. There are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy such as local festivals, horse riding, natural adventure parks, cliff walking and lake swimming. For golf enthusiasts there is a picturesque 18 hole course in neighbouring Meribel.
The summer season in the 3 Valleys runs from July 1st to September 1st. The average temperature during the summer season is 19°C. July is the hottest month with an average temperature of 21°C although temperatures in 2019 averaged 25°C throughout the hottest weeks.
